For the Scrooge who’s got it all.

Like most people around the world, you’ve probably read or seen at least one adaptation of A Christmas Carol, the 1843 novella by Charles Dickens. You must have at least heard the exclamation “Bah! Humbug!” in reference to Scrooge’s disdain of anything festive or sentimental. But what does that actually mean? Here is a video from Public Displays of Confection, a candy-making company in Tallahassee, to tell you about it much more concisely than I ever could (also note that the humbug used in my product photo is from them!):

I love A Christmas Carol. I read it at least once a year. My three favorite Christmas movies/TV shows are adaptations of A Christmas Carol (Muppet, Patrick Stewart’s 1999 version, and Blackadder, if you were wondering). And while I’m someone who loves all things Christmas, I liked the idea of a Christmas lip balm to give to someone who… well, let’s just say is less than enthusiastic about the holiday season.

Humbug Lip Balm is for the Scrooge who’s got it all. Refreshingly original yet hauntingly old-fashioned, it’s a blend of horehound and peppermint for a cool herbal delight! So what is horehound? Well, it’s kiiiinda licorice-y, but just generally sweet and herbaceous, and it complements the chilly peppermint beautifully.
