When I think of spring, I think of freshness. Fresh flowers, fresh fruits, and yes, fresh baked goods. But as important as freshness is, the idea for this fresh spring lip balm was reused and recycled from another product.

You see, Lemon Lavender started life as a bath bomb scent. This was back when I was still experimenting with my bath bomb recipe, back when I hadn’t quite perfected it. What I had perfected was the scent. I knew I couldn’t wait until the bath bombs were right before I shared this little beauty with the world.

Lemon Lavender Lip Balm is a stunning confection of zesty lemon, floral-herbaceous lavender, and swirls of sweet yellow cake and vanilla buttercream. It’s subtly sweet and rich, with a gorgeous burst of freshness, perfect for spring or any other time of year.

I have been asked many times what my favorite lip balm flavor is, and while I really can never choose a definitive answer, I would say that this is probably my favorite flavor that is available year-round.

(And yes, I do have plans to make a Yellow Salt Bomb, which I’m planning to debut sometime in May. You heard it here first!)

Don’t forget that April 23rd is the LAST DAY to order the Molly Rose Easter Collection at 50% OFF! Order now!

Next week, we’ll take a look at another contender for my favorite lip with Tea & Biscuits Lip Balm, and you’ll find out what I like to do when April showers hit.
