As Easter quickly approaches, we examine the creamy-sweet delight that is chocolate and peanut butter.

There are certain ubiquitous flavor combinations: lime and coconut, pumpkin and spice, pizza and pineapple (fight me). But one of the greatest combos has to be peanut butter and chocolate. What is better than rich creamy chocolate surrounding a salty and smooth peanut butter filling? Nothing, I tell ya! It’s a decadent delight that anyone of any age can appreciate.

We vegans don’t get a lot of chocolate-peanut butter options at Easter. Luckily, I’m still working my way through the eight pounds of Justin’s mini dark chocolate peanut butter cups that I bought on clearance after Halloween. I wish I were exaggerating.

Peanut Butter Bunny Lip Balm is an homage to that Easter classic. Featuring a pastel pink color (well, I really didn’t want it to be brown when the rest of the Molly Rose Easter Collection looks so pretty!),  it’s a balanced blend of sweet and subtle chocolate and peanutty deliciousness. As with the rest of the collection, I never wanted it to be too cloying or obnoxious to wear. It’s a beautiful final lip balm to complete the Easter options available.

You can find Peanut Butter Bunny Lip Balm, along with the rest of the Molly Rose Easter Collection, in the Easter Basket 4-Tube Gift Roll.

Whether you celebrate or not, I hope you spend Easter like I am, surrounded by the people you love and the food you love (for me, you know it’s candy). Please check out my veganized versions of my family’s traditional recipes for Easter Rice Pie and Pizza Rustica. Also check out the entire Molly Rose Easter Collection as they will be 50% OFF starting Monday and only available through April 23rd!

Next week, we’ll be taking a look at Lemon Lavender Lip Balm, an utterly delightful combination that is perfect for spring!
